FOODCoST - FOOD costing and internalisation

The project FOODCoST – FOOD Costing and Internalisation of Externalities for System Transition aims to ensure a sustainable food system. Mainly by internalizing the externalities along the food value chain.

The FOODCoST has designed a roadmap that will allow the food systems to internalize both the cost of harmful food as well as the benefits of healthy food. It will reflect them in the market price and in the stakeholders’ decision making processes.

The project is coordinated by Stichting Wageningen Research. The consortium consists of PEDAL Consulting and 23 other partners sourced from countries from all over Europe and beyond.
