Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) represent over 99 % of businesses in the EU. The competitiveness and growth of the European economy depends on the competitiveness and growth of the SMEs. One of the most important issues that the SMEs face is their difficulty in accessing finance.
The project “ALTFINator – Capacity-building of the financial ecosystem and its participants for improving innovative SME´s access to alternative forms of finance in Europe with focus on SE and CEE” is here to help.
Its goal is to design, develop and implement a strategy for the increase of the capacity of the financial ecosystem and its participants. Mainly in South, Central and Eastern European countries. In this way the system should be able to provide and absorb alternative forms of financing for innovative SMEs.
