The INPROCAP is coordinated by the TEKNOLOGISK INSTITUT DENMARK. In co-operation with project partners, they will dive into establishing a comprehensive framework for innovative procurement within Big Science Organisations (BSOs). They represent an international market of business partnerships between different sector entities and large-scale Big Science infrastructures. Not only do they open the development opportunities for the scientists, but also face high demand for a variety of products and services.

The main activities of the project comprise of:

• Establishing a sustainable advisory platform and enhancing the role of Industrial Liaison Officers (ILO).
• Integrating innovative procurement practices into BSOs, as well as standardisation of these practices across the Big Science market.
• Motivating start-ups and SMEs from all over Europe to participate in Big Science innovation procurement processes.
• Providing specialist advisory services on innovation procurement to public procurers of BSO by the officers.
• Introducing innovation procurement as a standard tool for the Big Science market.

The consortium consists of partners from Denmark, the Netherlands, Spain, Slovakia, Poland, Germany, and Sweden.
